meaning of s and cs

I have an 85 4000s quattro and my dad has an 87 4000cs quattro. The
difference in the interior is he has the quattro stitched interior and I
have the plain grey cloth with heated seats. The question I have is what
does the C and the S stand for? Everyone I have talked to including my dad
has no idea. I haved strained my mind for a long time trying to figure it
out. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
