Nautical Blue Sighting

Hey Everyone,

I can't believe it. Yesterday I went down my street to the El Camino Real San
Mateo, CA.
I couldn't believe what I saw an 86-87 Nautical Blue 5000 CS quattro parked
out in front of a used car lot. I flipped a U and had to stop and look at it
more closely.
It was exactly like Mike Veglia's car. Mint in condition. I new it wasn't his
because it had stock alloy wheels. It had the nice gray leather and looked
new. I went inside the used car lot and asked around it wasn't for sale and
nobody new who it belonged to. I would've left a note but it was raining and
we were running late already. If the OWNER of the car is a LISTER please
contact me for heaven's sake, I live right up the street and would love to
meet and talk with someone who has the same color quattro as me. I know this
color on a 5000 CS quattro is rare as this is now the second one I've ever
seen besides the one in front of my house (also on my desktop I must be really
sick).

Mine is the only 1988 5000CS quattro in Nautical Blue I've ever seen.
Anyone have access to statistics like how many 1988 5000 CS quattro's were
made in the color of Nautical Blue with Tan Leather.
I am dying to know! I know my car is rare, but how rare?
OK, so it's not as rare as a S8 in America but I still would like to know the
info.
I tried AOA and they were no help.
I called Germany and they said they'd get back to me it's been 3 months I
don't think they are gonna call,
So anyone out there know of a registry or have the info?

If you want to see the color I'm talking about there's a pic available.

Thanks in advance for your help and understanding.
