Samco v. intercooler...

Hmm ... I had a Samco hose on my 200q for about a year and when I had the car
apart for some service recently, I noticed that one of the plastic tanks on
the IC had cracked and was leaking oil.  I assumed this was an isolated thing
and successfully repaired it with some JB Weld but now I'm not so sure...

Has anyone else running a Samco hose experienced this on their car?  I went
back to the OEM hose for now and left the bypass valve off as well ...
although it helped smooth out my shifts, I think it was bleeding off the boost
too soon -- the car seemed down on power, anyway -- and suspect the diaphragm
had torn.  I've ordered another valve from a different company and will be
trying that shortly...
