RE: Dash lights? replacement and sources?

Are you sure it's the bulb? On my car, I have to activate the check system
by sticking a fuse in the fuel pump relay. I tried it a dozen times and
nothing happened - no light on the dash. Finally I noticed that there was
only one contact in the relay socket (i.e. the fuse wasn't completing the
circuit cause only one blade was touching anything). I think the previous
owner/mechanic must have put the fuse in crooked and broken one of the
contacts in the relay. I changed the fuel pump relay with a different unit
and bingo - check engine light fired up. Something to look at if you have
the same setup.

Subject: Dash lights? replacement and sources?

I have a late model 91 20v 200. Car doesn't appear to have a check
engine light and I'm not sure if the car doesn't have one or if the
bulb is burned out.

I'm still trying to decipher the Bentley manuals right now, but it
appears that the steering wheel has to be removed in order to get to
the instrument lights.

Can anyone tell me:
1 - where to get replacement lights in the North East (US)?
2 - Are late model 91 200TQs supposed to have the check engine light?

Thanks

Chi
