more on windows, need btdt

i did more work on the windows, here's what i found.

in looking at the passenger window, i found that the
glass itself fit deeper into the window carrier (that's
what i am calling the part that travels up and down the
track, connected to the cable) on the passenger side
than the driver's side. the driver's side is the one
	that is malfunctioning, btw.

i ap pretty sure that the carrier is still ok. i just
don't know the correct method of getting the bottom of
the window glass properly seated into the carrier. one
certaily cannot use a hammer ;) i tried just pushing it
as much as i thought it could bear but this was not
	effective.

so i'm looking for advice. how do i get the glass to go
	deep enough into the carrier?
