Sorry, haven't gotten the receipt in the mail yet (long story).
Good reputable shop though; if you're ever in Oregon and need
clutch work, go to Clutch Doctors in Beaverton.

Dirty hydraulic fluid is most likely the culprit. If your
brakes and clutch haven't been flushed with new fluid
between 70k and 155k miles, I can guarantee you that was it.
I am now a firm believer in replacing all fluids (except
transmission, differential, and oil of course) at about
every 20k miles. Brake, clutch, power steering. Coolant
should be more frequent too, probably. Anything else I
forgot? A/C recharge doesn't count... Oh yeah, lube those
door handles, power windows, and power sunroofs (sunrooves?).
More frequent is rarely foolish.
