Erm, ...

a) Don't try and do this on the car.  Clamp and detach the feed hose
   from the tank, undo one of the linkages at the accumulator, unbolt the
   mounting bushes and take the whole assembly to a bench.

b) I know of two ways to hold the check valve while undoing the bolt.
   One is a specially ground-down 17mm open-ended wrench - it helps
   to use a non-slimline type.  The other is a pair of 12LC ViseGrips,
   which can reach around the posts and hold the check valve.

c) An alternative is to sacrifice the pipe (811 201 220B?) and saw
   off the projection so that the check valve can be wound out.
