I guess that may be the heart of the problem. The metalmasters. They
(IMO) are really good street pads, but they go to the dumper really
quickly on the track.  Fluid should be fine assuming the system wasnt
opened.
If you put a block of wood in there, the brakes would be crappy too,
whether you had one pison calipers or 6 piston calipers.
