Roger Galvin just got a DOA rebuilt turbo from one of the cheap rebuild
specialists.  He mentioned it to his dealer, who promptly offered to
beat the price with a genuine VAG exchange unit.

No contest.

Beware of Audi's spares prices - they are now awake and might well prove
cheaper than third parties, as well as better.
