Chin or tail?  I drove my 83 5kt for a while with no chin spoiler, it
seemed a little less stable at 100 mph.

No idea on the tail wing.  makes a good handle to open the trunk with
though, unlike the early version which just acts as a combination rust
trap/trunk water inlet.
