Methinks the book is wrong.  There was that last production run of several
hundred S6's badged as 95.5's.

Speaking of S6s--was at the Audi dealer the other day--they are not
interested in selling me a car--not at the prices quoted--that is another
story.

But--in wandering around I saw a new A6 Avant with S6 badges on the grill
& rear lid.


Got all nervous, thought I was really on to something.  Got talking to the
F&I guy who I've known for years.  The car belonged to the Audi manager
for the dealership (they handle 7 lines of cars) and he simply stuck the
S badges on a normal A6 Avant.  Dont think I want to do biz with a poseur.
