Knee surgery and clutches
Fellow Audians:
Wiped out pretty badly on a church ski outing a few weeks ago, resulting in
a visit to the local ER. Post crash MRI was bad news, and I'm having knee
surgery tomorrow to repair a blown left anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
Doctor says crutches for at least a week, lots o' physical therapy and
smiled when I told him I drive an Audi with a 5 spd.
I realize everyone heals differently based on surgical method and
aggressiveness of physical therapy, but has anyone on the list had this
type of surgery? How long before you could drive with a clutch? Just
looking for a reasonable estimate of when I can drive my Q-ship again.
BTW, since the car is going to be sitting for a few weeks in the front
driveway, I gave her a good washing yesterday and I have to admit, the car
looks fantastic!
TIA...

P.S. I plan on doing the 5 day rental of Ronin so that should help the
recovery
