Re: Power Steering Reservior leaking thru Cap



I just recently went through a similar experience.  In my case, I fixed it
by replacing the pump.  I was getting pressure in the tank, like you, and it
was coming from the steering side of the system.
I suggest you determine first where the pressure "leak" is coming from, the
brake side (high pressure) or the steering side (low pressure) and then
address it accordingly.  I know, I'm not being much help but as you can see
from other posts several components can cause this condition.
