San Francisco Listers/Opinions (noAudi)

Subject: Job market in the Bay Area - list member suggestions/opinions

Well, the list traffic seems to have slowed down a bit, so I'll throw out my
non-Audi content message and hope for the best.

I'm thinking about relocating to the San Francisco area.  My girlfriend of 4
years has been accepted to law school in San Francisco (lets not revisit the
lawyer jokes=)) and
I'm looking for listers with suggestions/opinions on the job market in the
Bay Area.

I'm sure it varies somewhat depending upon the type of job you're looking
for, but I'm pretty flexible...and with that said, lets not revive the
gigolo/pimp thread...not that flexible=).  I have work experience in the
computer and software industry, legal investigation, medical research, and a
little graphics arts experience.  Any opinions, good or bad indifferent,
would be appreciated.

Again, sorry for the self-serving non-Audi content.
