S2 For Real?

A local used car lot has what appears (at first glance) to be an S2. That
is, it is a Coupe Quattro with S2 badges on it. I haven't gotten the VIN
yet, but I'd really like to know what life would be like if it is real, and
even if it's not.

At the very least, it's a 1991 Coupe Quattro. That's the 20v 5-cyl, yes?
It's pearl/black. It looks really clean. It has 109k miles (or if it's
really from Eurpope, I suppose it's 109k km).

The place is asking $8500 for it. I'm thinking it's worth the price even if
it's just a normal CQ. Any concerns I should have?
