Stuck Sunroof & April showers & vendors

What do you do when you here your 5KTQ sunroof launches some guide 
pin shrapnnel in the fully open position?  Immediately nothing 
because it is a beautiful spring day has bloomed in Maine and this 
will not ruin it.  Fast forward 2 hours and panic sets in as 
unexpected rain showers hit your locale.  Now you park the car in the 
girlfriends garage and do everything short of sawsalling your roof 
open to get the sunroof free and discover the broken part.  Not 
wanting to get clean and dirty again some othertime, you remeber that 
the local Audi parts place is open till 8PM.  On the way you mentally 
prepare yourself for the ridiculous price and remember that it is 
better than getting wet on your long commute.
The parts guy duly confirms you PN and correspondinly ridiculous 
price as you grimace and reach for the wallet, he says we don't have 
it.  Big surprise!  Do you know of any local Audi boneyards I ask, 
not locally he says but knows of a place in New Hamphsire that has 
tons of em.  AutoBahn in Concord well over 100 miles away!  I smile 
and leave, tape up the hole in my roof, call Chris S, as usual he has 
what I need for about the cost of gas for the trip!
Moral of the story, when Audi parts depts a state away are 
recommending you, you've gotta have something on the ball!
