re: Power tap for relays..



To remove the battery post, I held the plastic case with a big pair of
pliers and applied an ordinary socket to the post. It's on there pretty
tight--so some penetrating oil wouldn't hurt. BTW, the jumper post unit was
unbolted from its mount when I did this.

Yesterday I got around to finishing installation of the 2nd relay harness.
When I added a _second_ ring lug under the jumper post to connect the other
in-line 30-amp fuse, I found that this raised the (post) height so it
intereferes with proper closing the plastic jumper cover. To avoid this you
might consider using only one (very large gauge) ring lug to connect _both_
power leads.
