Re: Road Rage, Dan's experience

How about this one: Me driving sedately on a two lane road. Put on left
blinker, slow down to make turn. Have to stop for oncomming trafic. Car
behind me approaching fast. I hear screeching tires as the motorist
skids to a stop almost hitting me. Female drivers shouts obscenities
about my driving and who knows what else. I checked my turn signals and
brake lights and they worked, not that that's any excuse for her.
Or how about what I heard a young lady in traffic school say to the
officer teaching "But, I thought it was OK to go on through the stop
sign if the car in front stopped?!"
Or last night when I was riding as a passenger in a huge 24 foot box
truck towing a 16 foot trailer. I think we were totalling about 8 tons.
We were doing 50 mph in the right lane when a "scoobie" driver comes
around a clover leaf freeway "on" ramp. After starting to merge into the
gap between the front and rear axles, they notice us. They thoughtfully
wait for this huge rig (us) to go by, then continue to merge. They then
pull up along the left side of the the truck and give us the finger.
Huh?
