I always wanted a strobe in my back window.  What I mean is a camera
flash; I do photography as a (rarely) paying hobby, and I have one *heck*
of a flashgun.  I actually came up with a way to mount it in my back
window so I could blind people who tailgate or fail to dim their lights,
but I never used it.  I was always afraid someone would wreck.

Of course, that does nothing at all for the problem of making people move
over when they're blocking traffic in the fast lane, but it's a fun idea
to consider, nonetheless.
