RE: Check Engine Light
You may be mis-attributing causality, here.
Try going to work a different way, and see if your light comes on at about
the same elapsed time into your trip.
It may just be your car's way of telling you not to go to work.....
Or, you might be travelling through a particularly strong EM/RF field.

Subject: Check Engine Light
Ok, here's a weird one on my 95 A6Q I just bought. When driving to work,
when I pass the same point on my commute, my check engine light comes on.
The engine seems fine, all gauges normal, no hesitation or anything. When I
get to work and turn the car off, and then restart it just to check, the
light does not come on again. I can drive around all day not passing the
same point again and the light will not go on again. My guess is some sort
of electrical disturbance at this particular place that I drive by. Has
anybody else experienced anything like this?? I think I'm going to just
ignore it for now.
