suspension upgrades [was: (no subject)]



Personally, I would recommend H&R springs and Koni adjustables.
Then you could stiffen it up for city driving and tone it down
a bit for distance driving.  For a more economical setup, you
could use Koni non-adjustable gas, or the venerable Boge Turbo
Gas.  None of these are quite as stiff as bone-jarring Bilstein,
but for distance driving you probably would get sick of that.
And if you get adjustable Koni's, you can make it ride like the
Bilsteins.

I'm a cheapskate, so I'm just going to get myself the Boge Turbo
Gas and keep my stock springs.  Sure beats mass-market gas
struts that the local shops would install.
