ABS light

Hi Y'all,

A new problem seems to have developed in my '95 S6.  After replacing brake
pads the "ABS Off" light comes on.  The wheel speed sensors were not
touched during the brake work.  The ABS light turns on only when the lights
are turned on.  Turn off the headlight switch, the ABS light goes out.

I seriously doubt that the problem is a result of screwing up a speed
sensor.  But...  The problem was noticed immediately after the brake work.
I'm baffled as to why this light comes on only when the headlight switch is
turned on.  I have not tested whether or not the ABS actually is working.

Any suggestions?  I'll try the sensor adjustment anyway but I'm still
dubious about the effect.
