insurance company/broker I use. Agreed upon value is indeed a great
solution. When I purchased my 93 S4 a few months ago, the policy was
written with an agreed value (provided by the insurer, not me) of
$28,000. Needless to say, that's greatly in excess (in fact, by over
$10,000) of what I paid for the car. My other cars also have agreed
upon values - also, IMO, for much more than they're actually worth,
but if the insurer is willing, I'm certainly not going to disagree :) >>
I have a stated value insurance policy on my 914/6............Although, even
though I've been paying that premium for over 15 years ( and increasing the
value ) I have never been certain that the insurance company would just hand
over the check in case of a loss.......................My thoughts are that
I'm still in for the fight of my life with these guys. I have a feeling that
there is some small print somewhere that's going screw
me..............................WHY do I feel that way ??????????
I don't trust hardly anyone anymore......seems like no matter how hard you
try to protect yourself..............you'll still get hosed somehow.
