Re: Coupe GT Springs

I recently encountered the same problem when looking for
springs to complete Kelly's GT project. I ended up using
Eibachs for the 80/90 2wd cars & they worked perfect-nice
ride height & good ride quality. The only other option
was to go coilover, this worked great though. As far as
cutting your stock springs, I think that would cause
problems as the front springs are reduced diameter at
both ends, cutting them would cause them not to properly
sit in the cups. Heating and collapsing them is a great
way to end up with broken springs-we've removed several
from cars here at the shop that were done that way. Happy
hunting.
