Split CV boots anyone ?

I would like to know if I might be able to get a split
CV boot kit for my '88 80Q. Does anyone know 
any vendor who might have some. The reason for
me going for a split boot kit is that one of the nuts 
at the transaxle seems to have been stripped accidentally
and I wouldn't want to make it impossible to remove it. 
My new boot came with the half shaft and was 
somehow pinched when it was being put in by a friend *ouch*
Any info will be highly appreciated. Thanks
