4k = compact car, in Europe known as the Audi 80/90
5k = bigger car, in Europe known as the 100 (NA & turbo)/200 (turbo)
V8 = flagship from 1989 to the introduction of the A8 in 1994
S4 = the "sport" model of the post-92 100. 20V turbo I5, 230 hp
100 = facelifted 5k until 1991, from 1992 a new big car.
200 = a 100 with turbo engine, different front and some other things
S6 = facelifted S4, same engine, but introduced when the 100 got a
facelift and was renamed A6. (introduced model year 1995)
