Re: Injector Removal

I don't know specifics. But, I do know that earlier Audis (5kcstq included)
had metal-tipped injectors which leaked down easily and caused problems. In
later years, Audi switched to viton tipped injectors and are much better.

I just changed all my injectors recently...all replacements are viton-tipped
improved injectors and come with new seals.

I don't know for sure, but the "lower injector" they talk of may be the
cold-start injector. Most likely won't need to be replaced as it's not used
often, and only then at startup.

Later,
Dan
