Re: 90 200TQW Radiator and electric cooling pump? Now: Done!

Thanks to everyone with the usual fantastic feedback.

I finished the 200TQW this afternoon.
The radiator was replaced with an all metal Modine. It is nice to not
have those plastic parts to worry with. The radiator is a good fit
but mine had a couple of defects. I didn't have time to mess with a
return and replace so I fixed it up myself. First, one of the bottom
radiator mount attach points was hopelessly wrong. The mount would not
even start to thread in. I ended up drilling and tapping a few threads
in there. Second, the upper inlet and the reservoir overflow hose
connect points were very close together making it impossible to
connect more than one hose at a time. Finally, I just decided to try
bending the overflow connect nipple out a bit. This was not much fun
and I hope this wasn't a long term mistake.
There are no leaks and it does seem to work better than my old
original, although I've not seen any hot weather yet.

On the electric pump, I ran out of time and went with the Audi
pump. When I have to replace it again, I'll try the Shogun pump.
