Dreaded Door Handle Linkage

Over the past year I've a spent a zillion or so bucks on
restoration/upgrades of my '86 CGT. I've still got one problem that
perhaps someone has resolved.

This restoration included the purchase of a new set of door handles and
linkage (so I splurged). After enjoying the one-handed entry technique for
a few months, I'm back to the old two-handed method (push door in with
right hand - squeeze door handle and pull with left).

The car has always been extremely tight (almost vacuum like) and yes it
does help to leave the window slightly open to equalize the
internal/external pressure. I've also made the adjustments as previously
posted by others and it works fine for a couple of days...then its back to
the traditional Coupe two-handed method for entry.

Has anybody out there developed a surefire fix that will last at least 6
months?
