RS2 Mods for Q's

Watch out!  The RS2 stuff is not for 80 series cars.  In the US the RS2
model was a 90 Avant, not an 80.  Different fenders, different hood,
different trim up front.  If you want the RS2 bumper new fenders are
needed if you want the wheel arches to line up properly.  With the new
wheel arches on the suspension will look off, front wheels sit to far back
in the arch.  So then suspension has to be changed to B4(90) model
suspension, $$$$.  Your 80q is a TYP89 model unless you are in
europe, if you are in europe, then your 80 must be a model 92 or later for
perfect fit of RS2 bumper, headlights.  If you are in the US the 80q will
be a pain to get the RS2 stuff looking perfect on it.  I am trying an RS2
front end for my '88 80, a lot of work.  I am friends with the owner of
www.audi80.com, Oliver Sprenger, and you would never guess how much he has
spent on making that car look like an RS2 sedan.  He also has a beautiful
1.8t engine coupled with a K04 turbo and an RS2 intercooler, maybe an ABT
big piston kit is on the way as well.  RS2 stuff is not very obtainable in
the US, but I can get RS2 parts from Germany if anyone needs them.
