Nina Kerner, just known as Nina. Probably the closest thing to a female
Mick Jagger there's ever been. I have all of her CDs and albums.
#1 deep bass track of all time, anywhere, is "Irgendwie, irgendwo,
irgendwann". It needs about 100 watts RMS in an average room with the
loudness control on. In the light of some of the tragedies in her
personal life, tracks like "Weisses Schiff" are almost heart-rending.
"99 Luftballons" was an anti-war song about the dangers of trigger-happy
generals. It made no sense in English at all.
