re my feet are wet

With the vehicle on a lift, you may be able to see the drain, which is below
the battery tray. If so, you may be able to squeeze it and break the "jam".
Alternatively, and BTDT, remove the cover below the glove box. Remove the
white cover retainer at the back - pull hard. Move or remove the ECU. At
the rear of the air plenum, note the hose. Pull it and catch the flood. I
suggest either a slight v-notch in the hose end, some lube, or a straw
segment to keep the hose from staying closed.
Reinstallation is in reverse, except that the hose has a rubber flange for
the firewall that is difficult to get seated. And the ECU may be a pain
getting the connector re-connected in situ. It your air smells like a
swamp, you may want to squirt some Chlorox into the plenum afterward. I
think there is a small hole you can find for this.
