I know it's against the law in Minnesota, but.......................
I've got a clear plastic cover over my rear license plate. Key word,
clear. I did it as part of an "upgrade" from the OEM license mounting
configuration. I've sat and talked with a cop for over 30 minutes and I'm
positive he saw the cover, but didn't say a word. The fact that my car is
considered an "elite" vehicle, (at least when compared to say, a Ford)
probably helped the situation. Now if I were driving one of these lowered
Hondas with a racing stripe and large rear wing, he'd probably have
popped me for everything possible. :-)
