OK - this one's _REAL_ weird!!!!

I was barrelling cheerfully along the A14 westbound yesterday evening
when I spotted what I thought might be a "stealth" (unmarked police car)
so I slowed down (a lot) to the legal limit.  I drifted up behind this
thing and observed the symptoms more closely - second rear view mirror
for passenger use, two large occupants ("Evenin', sir") and some
aerials.  The ECM was adamant that nothing was going on, so I decided to
drift past and welly it.

At that instant, the rear view mirror filled up with a _very_ nice
looking 5k.  US specification, with those curious US forces plates
(there are a lot of US personnel at Molesworth and other local bases)
that carry a UK registration number to fool the terrorists but are a
slightly different shape so the UK Fuzz can recognise them.  Anyone
BTDT?

Anyway - nice looking car.  Driver had long blond hair.  Sex, from that
distance, indeterminate - but nice hair nonetheless.  Sorry, man.

The car turned off at Thrapston.  A lister?  It looked in _very_ good
condition indeed.  I don't know the colour by name, but a soft bronze?
