UFO brake rotor warranty

I just inquired about genuine Audi parts warranties and was told one year.
My question to the list is:  If I purchase UFO brake rotors, and I get a
shimmy within a year, will Audi replace them?  Has anyone on the list put on
their own parts and then tried to deal with Audi?  Did they put up a fuss,
or did they take care of the problem.  I will be buying the parts from Linda
at Carlsens.

I would rather do my own work on my car because I know it will be done
correctly, even if it takes longer.   But i would hate to lose the privilage
of returning the UFO rotors when the warp.
