Um, most of them have parts database and info as well. They'll give you
what THEY think is fair! Note: This is not always what YOU think is fair.
Your estimates can help negotiate a better settlement, but usually that's
it. Someone t-boned my Jeep last year and I not only had to hunt down the
guilty party to get thier ins. info, and drove in a wrecked Jeep for 3
months, but then I had to fork out $500 extra to get it fixed! Fair...I
think not, but that's life. Roll with the punches.
