RE: Dash Lights

	I don't know if your car is wired the same, but the same thing happened to 
my '89 200q.  It turns out the badly designed rear defrost switch shorted. 
 This switch is on the same circuit as the cluster lights.  I pulled out 
the cluster and found the circuit board fried in one spot.  I decided to 
get a new instrument cluster and rear defrost switch out of a salvage yard. 
 The problem is now fixed.  Hope this helps.
