Squeeze the Boot

I check my CV Boots once a day to make sure they haven't busted.  They are
very cracked but I finally had a blinding flash of smartness.  When I
squeezed them last night to check if they had juice in them, I've done this
many times before and it felt like there was nothing in there.  This time I
caught on to the fact that no air is coming in and out of either when I
squeeze HARD.  The boots feel like they are sealed, as if grabbing an
inflated object.  This means that they are still intact and nothing could
leak out, right?  Is this a truth or am I missing a piece of the puzzle?
