UrQ Hot Start - Help
In an effort to figure out my UrQ hot start problem I
hooked up the fuel pressure gauge and discovered that
the control pressure, system pressure and residual
pressures are all within specs. I did all the
"disconnect the coolant temp sensor and the OX sensor"
tests spec'd in the factory repair manual and passed
them all. The duty cycle bounces around happily at
45-50%. My thought is a massive air leak. I have the
idle screw all the way in and the idle speed is still
at the high end of normal. I have replaced every
vacuum hose and all the main intake hoses recently and
still it seems to get false air. Would this cause the
start and then instantly stall issue? I think so.
Where else could air be getting in from? If I remove
the oil filler cap the car almost stalls, but not
quite. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
