Some of you may remember the warning that Phil issued a few months ago
concerning the condition of the rubber grommet that the stainless steel part
of the turbo water return passes through. I'm going to echo that warning -
check that grommet and check it regularly. Two years ago I replaced that
grommet and the replacement has already split almost 3/4 of the way around
its curcumferance. When you next change the coolant it would be an idea to
take a real good look at the metal heater pipe that runs along the left side
of the block - its internal condition might surprize you.
