That's funny.  :-(  State Farm absolutely *refused* to sell my old wrecked
'89 200 back to me when I told them I wanted to buy it back to salvage
parts from it.  Not on your life.  Now I really *AM* POed.


Hmmm.  Here in Manitoba you have the first option to buy your car back from the insurance co. if they total it.  Don't know if that's legislated or just the ins. co.'s policy.  Of course, we only have one insurance provider and can't shop around for the best price so not everything is great.  Oh yeah, and the insurance co. is government owned and run.
