RE: Red light law



Actually the law in North Carolina states, "entered the intersection while 
the traffic signal was emitting a steady red signal."  Direct quote from 
the ticket they give you.  The entrance to an intersection is defined as 
the white line running perpindicular to the lane of travel, aprox 12" wide, 
usually near the crosswalks.  So if you get past the "entrance" to the 
intersection, and the light is not emitting a steady red signal, then you 
haven't broken the law.
