Britt, 
There is no special tool, you are almost there.  Remove the right side tie 
rod from the car.  The rack comes out thru that opening.  Don't use a pickle 
fork on the tie rod, you will rip the boot, use the 2 pronged puller (sears 
for about 30bux).  Entry of the new rack is the reverse of removal.  Leave 
the plastic caps on the spline and the two hydraulic fitting plugs in till 
you get the rack in.  Loosen the fitting plugs outside the car lightly hand 
tighten, then install, removing them when the rack is in, is a PITA.  Tighten 
the hydraulic fittings before you fully bolt in the rack, it's easier to get 
to the lines with the rack slightly forward of installed position.  Don't 
forget to bend the tabs over the 14mm bolts at the rack.
