Re: 1990 80Q Starter noise?
Don't know if it applies in this case, Robert, but when I had a similar
experience with a big ol' Chebby Suburban, it was a loose/misaligned
starter bolt that let the gear on the starter skip past the gear teeth on
the flywheel without meshing properly. Basically loosening both bolts and
retightening took care of the problem.
