RE: S4 Quattro Wins C&D Sports Sedan Comparison

C&D stated a base price of $39,000 and "price as tested" of $42,000,
and indicated that both were estimates. In this regard, the article
says: "Prices haven't been set yet, but Audi hints the S4 Quattro will
nose in under the M3's $40,526 base price. With the options on our
car - including a sunroof, heated seats, auto-dimming mirrors, and a
CD changer (as well as an in-dash player) - it would likely come in at
about $42,000."

U.S. price is supposed to be about $38K base MSRP which makes it
quite competitive to the BMW M3. Considering what you're getting
I think it's quite a steal! There is simply no other sub-$40K
car in stock form that has the S4's overall level of performance,
comfort, safety, quality, and exclusivity.
