RE: S4 Quattro Wins C&D Sports Sedan Comparison
Ti:
I guess I didn't explain myself very well so I'll present it another way.
U.S. - Can buy an S4 for $38k or an M3 for $43k
Canada - Can buy S4 for $57k or an M3 for $55k
Difference - S4 is $19k more while the M3 is only $12k more
So, whereas in the U.S. the S4 is $5k lower than the M3, in Canada it is
$2k higher, hence the $7k difference.
If you use the exchange excuse - then why is the M3 that is higher than the
S4 in the U.S., less than the S4 in Canada.
So my point is, if Audi had done its homework it would have positioned
itself more competitively in this market sector. Can you name me one other
country where Audi's cost more than BMW's?

U.S. price is supposed to be about $38K base MSRP which makes it
quite competitive to the BMW M3. Considering what you're getting
I think it's quite a steal! There is simply no other sub-$40K
car in stock form that has the S4's overall level of performance,
comfort, safety, quality, and exclusivity.
