Its not really the ablity of able to mold lenses on the light, but actually 
withstanding cracking, heat, rocks, sandblast that I am actually worrying 
about.  But if you mold something on, I think the GTS lense cover would work 
great as protection.  I wouldn't leave the builbs expose to the outside too 
long, because it won't last too long.  If you want them to last long, you 
need to have it in a vacum.  With as little moisture as possible.  

someone bought an idea up to me This afternoon.  Get a old Lincoin Mark 8 and 
use its HID and fit it in the type 44's lights.  I might try this.  I might 
have to use the 100 lights so i have more room.  (Mind going crrraqaaazzzyy, 
thinking about the many different ways to get cheap HIDs)
