RE: Frustrating Electrics on 4KSQ

	Have you checked the wires in the area of the trunk hinge?  I had the same 
problem with the backup lights in my '86 4kq a couple of months ago.  I was 
looking for some complicated problem when I realized the trunk hinge was 
pinching the wires to the backup lights and caused the wires to break.  A 
little rewiring, and it was as good as new.  Hope this helps.
