If your car will be disabled for a while you might want to think about
getting rid of all coverage except comprehensive ... and when it's back on
the road again to turn on the collision/liability/etc. Liability coverage
is liability coverage, but you should talk to your insurance person about
what they offer ... I think most companies have a discount for "pleasure"
vehicles. Another thing you might want to do is to talk to a company that
sells insurance for "classic" vehicles ... not by any means inferring that
an ur-q qualifies :-) ... but they are in the business of insuring cars that
are dirven infrequently and are valued to their owners more than the
standard tables might state ...
