... that's been the problem that tranny repair facilities have faced for
years. Then, when the tranny goes again shortly thereafter, the person then
wants to blame it on the repair shop. I knew a guy up in Sacramento that
wouldn't even talk to you about your manual tranny unless you agreed to
replacing everything he recommended. He was very "up front" and would show
you the parts and try to explain why. Eventually he got out of the manual
tranny business and only did automatics ...
